People are starting to not believe a word the government says on death rates/ testing etc so I think people will just start to ignore the lockdown if it goes on much more than another 3 weeks.

Another government minster has been caught put today breaking the rules on the lockdown....

If they wont stick to it then why should everyone else?

I think that's a bit ott at this point, no one has lost their business or house around here due to the disease to my knowledge.

It will happen but not for 3/6 months onwards..

How are people with any amount of Hoggs left feeling about trade going forward? I’ve only sold around 15% of mine and I’m starting to get itchy feet, thinking i may just take a load a week in for a few weeks to hedge my bets

15%? Depends on how many you have, but personally I wouldn't of wanted to only sold 15%. I would defo keep moving them now.

Got around 400 to go, hoggs are on pellets so are altering fast so can get them moving soon but won’t rush them

What are they like for teeth?
Starting to find a few teeth up here but haven't
got many left now.

We have around 450 left, to busy lambing to shift any for a couple of weeks. Hoping they will be a similar trade to now as not going to be greedy this year. Relying a bit on the Hoggs as beef looks dire.

None pulled for teeth yet, tbf I bought smaller types than usual as I didn’t have enough confidence to be paying £65-£70 for a store lamb in October/November so with a bit of luck they were smaller because they were younger!

If is was me I would shift some every week now trade ok at mo for right things it could go lot worst but could go better I guess depends if you are a gambler

That’s my thoughts, plan to draw a load a week and go from there

What is farcical about the lockdown? If people would stick to it better it would be all over allot sooner. Instead some not all are a bit meh towards it for some reason they dont just shut a country down for no reason.

I think there’s still a lot of Hoggs out there, stores have simply been too dear and too many are going to try and hold on to ‘get out of jail’. I hope I’m wrong but there’s been very very low numbers in markets across the country for the last 2-3 weeks since the crash.. only points towards a glut in a minute with a very restricted market to sell to.. only hope that european countries including us start to relax some of the restrictions and export / home demand grows - hope I’m wrong but give it 2-3 weeks spring lambs will start to come in bigger numbers as well
