How long will it last once restaurants get to capacity again. That must be the main driver. Even though prices need to stay up at this mark and beyond.

How many apart from the big chains will reopen? And if so for how long? With reduced capacity and the older generation paranoid about going out, apart from fast food I think the shutters are up for good for many

Brave enough to ring about my hoggs and ewes at Longtown on Thursday. Hoggs were around the £2 kilo mark a lot of hill types probably av36 kilo bringing them out around £70
Ewes were a mainly lean types some good some really bad from heavy geld Texels and Suffolk’s to herdwick and Swale boners overall av £60 pleased to be fair considering what the prospect was
Bought some more bulling heifers at Carlisle yesterday a flying trade must be a lot of confidence. Got 3x limx 1bbx av £1290 good sorts with bull now.

Anyone got beef prices for next week? Are Abp £3.7?
It seems at the moment, you can nearly name your price, depending on who you are, how many you have to sell, I know of cattle sold this week @£3.65 and going up another 5p next week. Livemarkets have been much dearer this week, particularly R grade mine in thirsk were up a good 10p/kg
