It's only South Molton that isn't like Richard III was. Biddi and Barnstaple markets are under car parks, now :(

Sedgemoor is a slog to haul to. Taunton was plenty far enough.
I've found it a breeze to get to Exeter since lockdown.
Usually goto sedge as once on M5 there is not a lot in it....and the breakfast is better ?

Tens of thousands of people have NOT had treatment/ diagnosis since the lockdown started in March!

The NHS cancelled over 3 million routine operations alone!

To keep it on the threading topic, the local maccy d opened today, people queued for 2 hours in their cars to get their fix.
You are looking silly here guth and disrespectful for people going through a lot of hardship in life. A friend of mine has just had full radio treatment as he couldn't wait. Priorities in a very very difficult situation. Maybe not the 100% correct decision every time but I have a lot of respect for people who have to make real decisions essentially dictating people's lives and I would never pull them in bits.

Im stating facts, just because you don't like those facts/ agree with them that doesn't make me look silly or disrespectful.

Reality is sadly many more deaths will be caused by the lockdown/ shambolic management of the NHS than from the virus itself.

Economically there is a massive depression coming down the road far worse than the devastating one in the 1930's ( which saw farmers walk off their land with just the clothes on their backs ) and this depression alone will take thousands of lives!

i take your comments to heart but stand by mine , they stand round the ring whithin a ring . + i dont run the risk of our prime cattle heading for the jew boys thats worth somthing!

Without the jew boys we would lose 10/15 privately owned abattoirs who cater for their needs, killing off live price competition. The Irish boys would then bend you over and give it to you without Vaseline.

The jews also leave behind the prime cuts, resulting in buyers paying more for cattle, which directly benefits family farms.

Some of the comments on here are unbelievable, how can forward thinking farmers compete with folk like you, who have no understanding of the trade or what actually influences the price you are paid?

I don’t know what type of hallucinogenic substance you are on these days but could you please tell me what it is so that I can avoid taking it!!!

Why do you think a severe economic depression is not a possibility after this?
The economy is suppressed which is completely different to that of depressed, as such the recovery is quicker. Of course the debt has to be repaid and a lot of jobs will be lost due to restructuring of working practices ie remote rather than office based and tech rather than hands on, but comparing this to the depression of the 30’s that lasted nearly 4 years and saw farmers walking off the land is a joke.

Totally agree ...there's a lot of people with money sitting in the bank . They have been furloughed on 80% wages and a lot doing 'cash in hand ' work . This will start to drift back into the economy . Personally I think a VAT hike to 30% will be a way to get money back in . It won't hurt business as they can reclaim .
Anyway ..... 4 cull cows going to HFD this morning if the vet turns up in the next half hr to complete the pre-movement.
The trailer is backed up ready and paper work nearly ready all we need is the vet and a clear test !

I would of thought the 80% of furloughed wages and cash is already spoken for in finance. If interest rates rise I feel we are all in big trouble, i don't think they will but if they do:eek::eek:
