I wouldn’t be worrying too much about a deal. Numbers are well short. If they don’t want our lamb they will have to source it from elsewhere which in turn will open up a notch for us to fill. That and the fact we can sell to anywhere we want anywhere else. Add on the fact that sheep meat is selling at record levels all over the world. I’m not sure what is to worry about apart from not having enough to sell.
Worst case scenario would be a temporary hiccup after Christmas into January but it would only be minor and only be slight.
January is never exciting as a rule anyway too much chuckie to pay after Father is to square up with.
Good trade at Carlisle store today. All classes would be up on the week, especially weaners and Bulls.Had two Lim bulls in made £965 and £920, 7 months old, decent sorts.

Good to hear that! I saw a bit on the phone this morning looked a canny trade. I heard a few different names too. Pleased to hear you had a good do. Just as well you didn’t try elsewhere like I suggested. I have a good few to go when I can get them in. Will try again tomorrow!
