Was going to say is there some friesian in the cows , theres your secret then , you want to keep that milk line going then somehow if you can , dont you find cows still to milky pulling calves of at 5 Month on them cows ?

good prices , but we as an industry are easily pleased , just shows if processors had just increased normal prices just a few% over the years , they could guarantee a good supply year round . All this holding prices back to 80s levels is no good for anyone.Bentham last night

Was interesting watching tv this morning and the age old cost of a pint of milk came up , public dont really know (or care) if its 50p or £2 they will still buy it .
