You sold it all wrong, you say that you are planning a new garden ‘feature’.
@Mc115reed why don’t you get a ten foot shipping container, stick it on an old trailer then park it in the field where the sheep are. You will get five tonne of sheep feed I. It easy and still have room for hurdles, drenching stuff etc. If you need to shift it just borrow a tractor and tow it to the next field

I farm on the edge of birmingham.. I’d be lucky if the shipping contained stayed where I left it never mind it’s contents [emoji51]

Do you have any problems with your sheep in the fields? Do none go missing or get butched?

Not had that issue just yet! I’m confident that I was short 25 lambs at weaning but Iv got a serious fox problem and put it down too that as I don’t think anybody would of wanted too butcher lambs that were nowhere near ready

I have lambs taken all the time once they hit 20kg live-weight! Found one taped up last spring that they left behind, picture on another thread somewhere!! I’m not that far from brum, and surrounded by smaller towns as well, if your by roads I would say you are probably having them nicked!! If I hadn’t found the taped up lamb I wouldn’t of known until the end of year count! Got friends that farm by the side of the M5 close to brum and they are under constant attack from rustlers, one guy had ten rams stolen from a paddock that was only 50 yards from his house!! Total scumbags

I only have a hand full of fields on road side so I’m not too bad and my sheep are pretty much impossible too catch without a dog but it’s definitely something I worry about!

Yes fortunately, must of been disturbed, front and back legs taped up like bound hands!! Rife round here, some more land five miles away also had sheep taken, two vehicles at night masked men all in black had the ewes an lambs cornered up, this was told to me the following day by a passer by who thought it was strange but failed to ring the police!!! 🤬🤬🤬
