Ewes often loose flesh around now unfortunately. They nearly always catch up though. This is why some folks build big sheds and put them in. I’m not a big fan of that but they will have held flesh better this time
House um in all the way for me... They do far better, u can control the amount of fodder they eat as apposed to endlessly lugging bales out to them and more importantly gives the ground a much needed rest.
Less twin lamb to, - hell we used to get big problems with that stressing them out housing um just before they lamb.......!!!

But that's jus me.. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I put 5/600 in before lambing the majority lambs outside any trouble comes in.
I suppose if you have the right set up you can put them in sooner and more in. I haven’t got enough shed space but we are working on that as we speak.

didnt go , to busy fert spreading , straw deliveries, dont really need any but guess we will when weve got all the fodder beet out! will ring a man who was going i bet he says they were dear!
had a word, he says absolutly off the clock he bought nowt, and he needs them, richard r only bought 2 that says it all!
