Prime Lambs
The sheep trade seems to be in a completely different orbit! When have we ever seen lambs more money in June than in May?
It would appear that no one does know what is around the corner in 2021. A shortage of lambs? Increased demand? Many lambs have been killed in other parts of the country for small trade – lambs 10-16kg dead. Will the unusual July/August glut appear with these small lambs been taken out of the equation? An interesting year ahead I would think.
As for today’s trade, it surpassed any expectations. A tidy show of lambs, with credit where credits due, you couldn’t ask for any better finish on lambs.
Buyers are requiring more numbers every week to fulfil demand. Lambs bring buyers and buyers bring lambs
