Those budget beef and chicken burgers in red and blue yellow packing for 70p were the boy! Pot noodles for £1 from the shop opposite we all turned to after Jamie Oliver messed the job upThey put in a SALAD bar and did away with bags of curly fries for £0.80! When you’d forgotten your lunch money they were a godsend if your mates would lend you 20p each!
Sounds like my mates!,2 mates then have a root in the grids usually…
and I say mates, does 50% interest per day sound like mates??
I’m with you. My OH likes it or I’d have beef. Wrap it in bacon to give it a bit of taste and then have beef on Boxing DayHorrible dry tasteless shite. Much rather have beef or lamb or pork, or even chicken.
Someone I know who’s very high up with supermarket buying that I spoke with October last year and I said that £6 won’t be far away in the spring and he said no way! It was £7.60 when I spoke to him in the spring and he said that proved how much they knewThe supermarkets price for early new season contract lambs is out for early next year............................................
Only £6.40 a kilo....
I think the supermarkets are in for one big shock next year!
Livestock buyer is telling people to sign the contract but if the livestock market price is greater then they should send them to market instead.Someone I know who’s very high up with supermarket buying that I spoke with October last year and I said that £6 won’t be far away in the spring and he said no way! A lot of people didn’t sign up to renew their Tesco contracts I’m led to believe? And those that did renew the contracts sent their lambs overweight/overfat so they would be paid on spot price and not the forward price.
Go Exeter today?Livestock buyer is telling people to sign the contract but if the livestock market price is greater then they should send them to market instead.
If lambs are £6.40 come early spring then what with the very high input inflation we currently have then in real terms that contract price is a massive cut in price!
They need to get real and plan for a lamb/hogg price early next spring of £8+ kilo. The sheep just are not there!
Yep, did not see many store lambs sold but from what i did then i would say trade was similar to last week.Go Exeter today?
Any idea what a ped registered FM Dorset and single ewe lamb very nice would fetch?Yep, did not see many store lambs sold but from what i did then i would say trade was similar to last week.
Couple's were a stupid price, FM Dorset ewes with twin lambs to £295 outfit!
Single FM couples today about £190, 4t either £212 or £220.Any idea what a ped registered FM Dorset and single ewe lamb very nice would fetch?
That’s the cook… not the product. Doesn’t take much too ruin a nice piece of red meat either…Horrible dry tasteless shite. Much rather have beef or lamb or pork, or even chicken.
They need too get back into the live rings and stop trying too tie us up in knots… can you imagine if the big 6 each had a buyer in?? magic!!Livestock buyer is telling people to sign the contract but if the livestock market price is greater then they should send them to market instead.

Can’t complain really, I did the same too them…Sounds like my mates!,
Yeah few more years left in the ewe, the ewe lamb is september born and something elseSingle FM couples today about £190, 4t either £212 or £220.

Easily £250 then, i did see a couple last spring, FM, top drawer ram lamb with her and that outfit made £370.Yeah few more years left in the ewe, the ewe lamb is september born and something else
