Hoggs were £5.60 per kilo this week last year and jumping upwards due to lack of numbers.....plenty hoggs about at the moment this year and the price is about to meet last years who’s wanting to make a price prediction tracker

They were £3.92 for cattle this week to Joe public, Or if you were a favorite and regular you could get a whopping £3.96!!!!

You'd of thought so. Although the Thursday market never has matched their Monday market regards values IMO.

Talking to someone today and he was saying a lot of people with lambs on dairy grass are being told they have to get off a month early, so there could be more lambs than usual coming through in the next month

Was going to Oswestry with lambs but decided to take em to shrews instead, had 237 for 60kilo and 265 for 49kgs. Was pleased enough, Spent it all within an hour, had a breakfast then bought two dairy heifers.

My better ewes were 155 think Holsworthy topped at 135 or something like that and probably bigger than mine. Only had to drive 5 miles to meet lorry which goes to longtown every week
