What’s the justification for beef and lamb dropping.

Sales have slowed through the supermarkets after they upped the price to protect their margin . (Beef)

Think a lot of people will be waiting on next weeks pay cheques bread and water until then

Unlike us that are meant to do like that all the time so they have cheap food.

I didnt go but a brief report is up on fb. Top steer made £1700, hfr £1550, Best bulls 320ppk, Barren cows to £1540.Sale was delayed because the scales werent working

because they can? If they dropped it 50p what you going to do other than bend over take it and still sell them the cattle

I know but hasn’t stopped them they were all talking pulling 20p out of them

they want them back to £5.20-40

but hopefully they live will spark into life just now and drive it forward

Didnt think you had the best of goes today, i tuned in and watched 10mins. Do they weigh them there? Auctioneer kicking them off at £700 almost had me spit my brew out.

Would have been nice to get them over the thousand. Don't think being first in helped tbh
And yeah, I nearly gave Sneddon a poke for starting them that low.
I was more pleased with the heifer at £940

Export has gone quiet apparently. Not sure about the rest of you but my keep grass is nearly all gone but hoggetts have been finishing really well and to good weights the last couple of weeks.
