Very rare I haggle. I ask the price, if it’s too high I just walk away. That’s why I like auctions. No arguing and pissing about over the last shilling. Hammer drops, that’s the price, next please
On the odd occasion I do buy direct I’ll bid what I think they are worth and that’s it. Haven’t time too low ball and work up. Really winds me up when people do it

I haven't eaten that since I left the army. Was nice enough after a week of ration packs.
Its made from all the off cuts of the good saleable meat.Showed it going along the conveyor belt.Minced up and salt added(probably alot) then cooked,but cooked for longer again in the tin.The same shape tin is used as in the WW1.Will keep edible for 5 years they said.
