Beef / Lamb & Pig Price Tracker

Good job I've never been transatlantic cos 1x4oz serving a week ain't going to cut it.

The response to "we've offset our carbon by planting a tree" is "What was there before?"
It’s not without a few holes but the bare bones are spot on. Farmers and meat are being made scapegoats when our industry does far more than any other. If there is a carbon tax we should be getting the fecking proceeds.

Just a snippet out of this telegraph article. This sort of stuff needs pushing and pushing.
The facts are out there but they get drowned out by the same old stuff being repeated over and over. I've said it before but the NFU need to get into the 21st century and put a media team on social media with a couple of dozen facts that could answer the misinformation once and for all.
At the moment they discourage engagement saying you won't win an argument with those people, that's nonsense.

Come on NFU. help us out.

Totally agree, What annoys me is the likes of SRUC or SAC to most of us were bloody advocating bags on cows noses like we are guilty of some massive wrong. They should have been trying to prove the opposite.

They are on the gravy train as well ,climate change is the best money spinner out there. All they do is go on about methane and emissions from agriculture they NEVER promote sequestration and the benefits of animal agriculture. When you point this out to them they just shake their heads and look at you as though you are certifiable.
