Best Angus bull I’ve come across!!!
You could teach these folks in amongst the Angus carry on a lot!!

They will think they could teach me!
Thats the beauty of the job i suppose, we all like something different!

I’ve never tried one of those but been tempted. There’s a lad up and west a bit sells a few of them

No, a bit of claragh and bit of rossignol farther back.
About 15k cheaper than if he was a purebred!

Yes probably gets better than the purebred too
I have a bull here got by Claragh Franco which I’ve used for years gets well and very easy calving came from the folks at Carlisle a fair bit ago

I was a bit sceptical of crossbreds at first but they get nice calves.
Wouldnt hesitate to buy another.
This is a sleekier bull than some of the blocky ones which will help calving wise.

I ran one of them last year on the heifers,he’s not as lengthy as that fellow but I’m delighted with the calves.

He's a three quarter lim, quarter blue, most of them just red or black like lims but maybe 1 in 3 will have white legs if the mother has bit of blue in it.

There’s a lot of folks over your way crack of crossed bulls and won’t have a purebred
Not so many over this way but not many cows in general nearby

Do they all come much the same or do they throw either way?

I was actually surprised how consistent they are . First time I’ve used a cross bred.Went out to buy a black lim but saw the cross bull and thought I’d take a chance. Mine is half and half.

Franco bull gets fairly well even off some average cows not all like that tho
