Yes same with me, they are almost more consistent arent they quality wise.I was actually surprised how consistent they are . First time I’ve used a cross bred.Went out to buy a black lim but saw the cross bull and thought I’d take a chance. Mine is half and half.
Definitely, great tops on them and they are growing away well.Yes same with me, they are almost more consistent arent they quality wise.
Some of the pure lims are lacking a bit of size and growthDefinitely, great tops on them and they are growing away well.
Found out later that vendor bought them in Hfd on 19th May for .......780Ha ha yes indeed I been wondering if u were Hfd Cattle last few times I've seen u there but didn't like to ask.... - Until today I thought u did well with those 4 heifers I desperately wanted to take um to £830ish but I just couldnt bring myself to bid against u....... Far to honourable I am...
Hard to get the right balance between shape and growth i would think if trying to breed them. Some of the pure lims are lacking a bit of size and growth
The buyers aren’t really bothered. The last bull was bred off a big framed sire and calves have a bit of length of leg at the moment time will tellHard to get the right balance between shape and growth i would think if trying to breed them.

A bull with that attitude must be shot regardless of breed and how good his calves are!I used to use limxblue bulls , had loads most were ok but the last one i had was a barsteward , threw extreme calf then a plain one and he would have killed anyone who got near . But the other half dozen i had did a good job , long time ago now .
