QUOYBRAE, Aberdeen and Northern Marts (Monday 4 th July 2021) Sold 660 Prime and Feeding Sheep. New Season Prime Lambs (169) averaged 284p per kg and sold to 307.8p per kg and £149.50 gross. Old Season Lambs (122) sold to £121.50. Feeding Ewes & Rams (369) averaged £136 and sold to £248 twice. QUOYBRAE, Aberdeen and Northern Marts (Monday 4th July 2021) Sold 660 Prime and Feeding Sheep. New Season Prime Lambs (169) averaged 284p per kg and sold to 307.8p per kg for 45kg continentals and £149.50 gross for a 58kg Bardnaclavan, Bridge of Westfield. Old Season Lambs (122) sold to £121.50 for Continental ewe lambs from East Kirk, Kirk. Feeding Ewes & Rams (369) averaged £136 and sold to £248 twice for Texels from Durran Mains, Castletown. “A real show of prime lambs passed through the ring today with all vendors being rewarded for the quality that was on offer. A tremendous show of feeding ewes met a fantastic trade from start to finish with many lots surpassing £150 and the whole sale averaging a staggering £136.”

Wondering were our prices a bit light at yesterdays sale? Or have they put last years results up instead.

Springers a touch light… hoggs look right and ewes definitely don’t look wrong! Breed/weight of lamb holding it back?
