What's the point in springers in January...and they won't of made £80!Pretty standard number for the first sale, numbers should build week on week from now on.

Must of weighed well then....you won't see any springers round here till very late March and nothing in any quantity till mayTop price £90, others at £81/80..
Better than hogs on the current trade it has to be said!
He'd have done over £100 more dead. 370kgs @ £3.40Took a Danish red bullock to Carlisle for a trial today. Forgot to get a picture of him but similar to the ones below but a bit longer drawn. View attachment 459792
Made 150p which was nothing flash, weighed well at 723kg, only 7kg less than the day before at home in a spring scale. All good apart from the off takes came to just short of £50! I think he would have been £20 ish better on the hook. Anyway, now I know. Oh and I had to sit around for 2.5 hours to sell him, but the steak pie and chips was good.
Fat lambs were apparently dismal, finished when I got there. Apparently one buyer bought 4 artic load but only wanted 2. He's not going to want many next week
Pedigree blue faced leisters were apparently a good trade.
Can you get an R grade on them?Took a Danish red bullock to Carlisle for a trial today. Forgot to get a picture of him but similar to the ones below but a bit longer drawn. View attachment 459792
