Took a Danish red bullock to Carlisle for a trial today. Forgot to get a picture of him :banghead: but similar to the ones below but a bit longer drawn.

Made 150p which was nothing flash, weighed well at 723kg, only 7kg less than the day before at home in a spring scale. All good apart from the off takes came to just short of £50! I think he would have been £20 ish better on the hook. Anyway, now I know. Oh and I had to sit around for 2.5 hours to sell him, but the steak pie and chips was good.

Fat lambs were apparently dismal, finished when I got there. Apparently one buyer bought 4 artic load but only wanted 2. He's not going to want many next week :banghead:

Pedigree blue faced leisters were apparently a good trade.
