Went to Exeter yesterday and i was really surprised how good overall the trade was, yes i understand the forward lambs being a good trade, but some small long keep lambs were mostly late 60s...i dont have very much grass ..i think have less as each day goes by, yes i know they should have a good price for their lambs as they have had to lamb them etc etc , but all things considered they are a good trade,my fear is we are as we are now in mid Sept which when you look at the weather forecasts is very likely, what price are these lambs going to be then...this could get very serious and a lot worst than many realise..anyway lets go and have a coffee..
