I know I supplied them for years, that was the highest price I had heard recently. When Blackburn was on the go first time around I could get 10/12p more than at York and up to 500kg when York would murder you over 400. But back then everything from Blackburn went back over to Ireland. Different jobs different prices
I just find it hard to believe they're paying 20 odd pence more than anyone else

Happy with my first draw of spring lambs. All very average Texel out of mules apart from the last that was a good Texel lamb out of a rouge type ewe.

10 days since I last sold lambs and I would say I was roughly 15p/kg down 14 lambs tex out of mules (mates to the last ones) made 236p at Carlisle this morning, or £95.8 for 40.5kg

Any one hit recent lamb prices down in SW? Wondering whether to take some lighter lambs into Exeter next Monday to get them gone before it drops. I have lambs from 40kg to 43kg all fit to go.

Springers back exactly £10/head for us in Rugby today. Sold 120 lambs to level at £90.75/head or 223p/kg. Ranged from 39.5 - 42kg's.

Up here 44kh+ are in short supply and in demand I think. I would get them gone, there is really only stand on or down now. If it hadn't hit the silly highs for a couple of weeks, we'd all be thinking £90+\head was great :)

The Hoggs and lambs last week in Carlisle were a mental trade.

You have missed the boat im afraid.

A diabolical suck lamb trade at Exeter today even thou a new buyer was at the market, prices were far below either deadweight or Honiton.

Cull ewes were a good trade mind.
