Yes could have definitely done with another buyer there today.

I'll go to the next one and trade will be off the scale! its still early in the season for store lambs and the early bought lambs last year didn't pay there's a lot of finishers still licking their wounds

Anyone heard what the dead weight lamb price is doing for next week, probably dire news but Longtown live average was not as bad as i expected so you never know

Hexham store lambs seemed to be a little easier today,probably cos our friend from Edenhall wasnt there.There were some reasonable sized decent lambs to be had for £49-£54.Anything Beltex though were off the scale,even little uns.Some Herdwick x beltex were the steal of the day at £38 and looked quite nice lambs.
