Its always the case when buying or selling livestock, pride can cost you money.Didn’t expect any to be overweight, I only like to send the biggest and smartest bullocks live and all the heifers

Full of meat! Over 60% kill out.Either exceptional,or you have had your shirt lifted. Are you sure they havent just stuck the 0.9 on to get you the deduction?
You’re right I would of rather had the £43! Absolute p!ss take getting docked that for not even a kilo over...but rules is rules...call me cynic alsoI think he might have preferred the extra £43
Being a bit of a cynic, I'm wondering how long they waited with it swinging on the scales for it to 'click up' that extra 0.9kg

Agreed but wasn’t a case of being proud they were all home bred on this load so went when they were finishedIts always the case when buying or selling livestock, pride can cost you money.
I was wrong, the delay was them deciding how close to 435kg to make that carcass to really rub it in. The point nine, so not even a kilo I think is poetic....... twits! Makes my Angus that missed 300kg by 6kg and hence the AA premium the other week not seem so bad!
