Yes av was 48kg. Lost 2 kg between loading at 1pm and selling at 8pm. I reckon they would have been £2 to £3 more dw with less off takes.
We send dw lambs that get paid up to 22.5 kg. These lambs would have all been 22.5 kg dw x £3.90/kg = £87.75.
Dawns don’t deduct over 22.5kg you just don’t get paid for anything overSurely fed 48kg+ lambs would kill out more than 22.5? Do they not knock back the pay weight to 21kg if the get over say 23kg? That is what the dumbia grid I’ve just been sent says. But they only pay to 22kg so you’re not sending them there. I only ask because I have some to go and not sold lambs dead at this time of year, just in the spring.
