All over the place, flock aged Suffolk’s scanned due end of Feb 75-100, mainly twins and singles. Mule theaves scanned two 140+, big Suffolk ewes full mouth scanned triplets 80-90

I think sale top of £2/kg for 43.5kgs

Ours were 45kgs, £84.

Going the right way, be interesting to compare that to dw.

Happy with my ewes at Longtown today. Last pen of grey (cross)ewes where a hell of a trade as not much flesh on them. Texels the same. Suffolk was a little disappointing as a big solid ewe. Possibly a little too fit. The Cha....well as Dad says, good job it only has four feet! Constantly lame on all four and wouldn’t flesh [emoji57]

But saw some cracking solid, biggest Cheviots I’ve ever seen pushing the £100 mark.

seemed good price to me today at Bakewell lunchtime sale plenty around he £1.80 mark,saw 26kg do £1.99 all the way to 56kg doing £1.82 and 43kg at £2.02 ,market report says £1.91 avg on 631 finished hoggs top was£2.29

Tex (strong) not scanned, due 15th March, flock age , hep , to tex ram,£124 ish .
Suffolk ewes same farm same value.
