Later. They Had campylobacter. Never mixed them in to the flock and culled them at weaning. Lambing students were good and kept up hygiene during lambing. Lucky escape but only because we quarantined them.

Edit it was only 20 mind, was a few short at the time thought they look good value!

I'm not sure about this year, but other years, he buys a lot of older mules, one year left in them, at 70/80 a head, then other years he sells them for 100+; no expense just running on grass, scanning, dose, then all sold, if he wasn't making a turn on them, he defo wouldn't do it every year.

you want to think positive here and hope in a few weeks time you are paying them a fiver and not £1.94

Looking at the Dingwall report they seem to have been flying too. The otm’s were some trade averaged 148 pence.

Took 2 angus steers to abp ellesmere today was quoted 3.85 for them. Was 3.60 2 weeks ago so things are on the up.

I’ve just been quoted £3.52 ppk DW for a Sim heifer by ABP Shrewsbury.
This price seems a bit low to me.
