I can assure you of one thing....I’ll do my very best to reduce it
Get that slatted shed built. I’m sure you need a lot of concrete for yard repairs etc[emoji6]

Dairy bred or suckler bred? Steers heifers? What age are they?what price aa stores making per k, in the 400/500 range ?
That looks like a good days work.Had 40 out of Welshpool Tuesday steers and heifers R an -U grades 400kg £800. They wouldn’t be the dearest nor the cheapest but I bide my time. 10 15month 420kg stabiliser heifers at £745 helped the average. Good U grades would be 210-220 with anything really smart being another £100 above that.
o8/16 suckler, about 5th generation aaDairy bred or suckler bred? Steers heifers? What age are they?

Personally about 2.10 at the moment maybe push a little more if they are good sorts. Someone else would pay more than me though which is why I usually come home short.o8/16 suckler, about 5th generation aa

I was assuming from market. From home needs to be back a bit to take into account gutfillOff farm weights that would be a very good price for the seller. Is the op selling from home?
How much back do you reckon is about right? 10ppk? Which is 5%?I was assuming from market. From home needs to be back a bit to take into account gutfill
Yeah I'd say about £2pk off farm for decent R grade suckler Angus. How much back do you reckon is about right? 10ppk? Which is 5%?
That’s a shame. I always miss the boat on the sheep job lately. What about the store cattle @gone up the hill ?Hogg trade fell off a cliff today!
Heavy meat hogs ( around 48/ 50 kilos ) fit to kill anything from £75 to £90 head.
Suck lambs not much better with an absolute belter of a pen of quality sappy yet heavy lambs only making £99 head, 30 kilo lambs anything from £72/ 77 head...

Many friesian steers about?Store cattle...
In all Honesty it was the worst quality entry of store cattle I have ever seen at Sedge with most of the main buyers losing the will to live as they came in the ring! pen after pen of 300/350 kilo 24/30+ month old cattle that were hollow and in all honesty should have been shot at birth giving the hard life they have had selling to very low prices.
However well framed NS Hereford steers/ heifers were a very strong trade and up on the week, strong BB cattle would have been back £20/30 head on last week, the rest would be back some £50 head on last weeks prices at a well placed guess given I all but fell asleep half way thru given the poor entry!
