Hahaha it’s not just Stewatry hill and me then
We must get all these fudgin' sheep weigher manufacturers investigated - it seems to be a countrywide problem:eek:. They shouldn't be allowed to sell us such dodgy scales:mad:

I've never sold in Longtown but my scales seem to be out by the same amount compared to the ones at my local mart .

Frome market today ,
most pens of lambs around the £70 +- (£68 - 74) mark ,for 42kg lambs, wasnt a lot of variation, yellows sold better than blues , best price i saw was 56s yellow for £80 , and £76 for blues

Trade for Lambs at Frome today was UP over 5pk to level around 1.66pk.

Prime cattle also UP a fair whack on the week as well.

Russell the auctioneer at Exeter is not a happy bunny it would seem.

https://www.kivells.com/sites/default/files/market-reports/Combine Result 051118.pdf

He has just been crowned Auctioneer of the year 2018 so the fact Exeter's trade on Monday will prob be the worst trade across the UK this week and by a fair margin as well will have not gone down well.

The 28 kilo lambs should have been sent home!

Exeter seems to be off the boil currently, even if you take out all the unfinished lambs trade is still £4/5 head down for the rest on other local markets..

I don't understand why trade at Exeter is falling away currently?

Who are they working for? The farmer that brings them there or the buyer. Should be the former. Sell live and thrive they say.:banghead:
