Yep they do, just hope they pick up a bit as iv got another 40 not too far off. At the end of the day they did better than I thought.Bulls often take a hit when the jobs a bit shakey
That’s good to hear. At the end of the day we can’t really afford to hold onto cattle the price feed is if they are ready to goYep they do, just hope they pick up a bit as iv got another 40 not too far off. At the end of the day they did better than I thought.
Yes I think so too.Ewes to £175 in Thainstone today, big shift in the trade. Those heavy lambs will soon be coming into their own.
Chris Dodds must be busy with the b wordAnyone know if the LAA has a new website or are they just a bit slow? I find this page useful:
https://www.laa.co.uk/market-trends/weekly-graphs/
but we're nearly in April and there seems to be no danger of them adding 2019 to the graphs
Shocking prices really for this time of the yearNot a great trade at Shrewsbury today but about as expected.
Really well finished lambs, deserved a bit more really but they just don’t want the heavy lambs right now. 42-45kgs the limit price and weight wise.

They’ll be blowing some peoples brains outNo ones getting fat selling these hoggs atm. Apart from those chopping them up and selling them in trays
No 2 years are the same. Look at all that free meat that's been given away. I'm as guilty myself at chasing the big price, but have learnt my lesson that you need to supply what the market wantsCant like that @beefandsleep they're a good tenner short
They can suddenly decide they want them thoughNo 2 years are the same. Look at all that free meat that's been given away. I'm as guilty myself at chasing the big price, but have learnt my lesson that you need to supply what the market wants
Yes, but they'll always be a market for the 40-44kg lambThey can suddenly decide they want them though
There’s always a market for a 50 kilo lamb...just the price is less per kiloYes, but they'll always be a market for the 40-44kg lamb
