If there’s still this many Hoggs about this year after last springs weather, then they’ll be some Hoggs about next spring after this lambings kind weather
hmm maybe many will get them marketed at the right weight / grade next year instead of waiting for gold at the end of the rainbow ,most would have got nearly todays prices last january , To be fair mid 90s isnt bad prices on a normal year , last year was a one off .Buyers have prob been told not to go over 100 this time around prices are just to grouped

More than normal amounts of lambs will of been marketed over summer due to the drought....it’s sad not getting £100 for a decent bred Hogg in 2019

i think long term it has to go one way or another , lamb has dragged well below inflation for maybe a decade , same as milk . the costs of producing escalate ever upward and at some point there has to be a stable correction .

spot on it was the same 2 years ago

Gave some calves away. pleased with lamb trade and good money for old ewes.
