Aldi looking at allowing beef upto 36mths into its irish stores. Aldi ireland says 100% of its beef is irish. I hope its uk stores stock mainland uk beef and not 100% irish too. Crazy that pig meat from denmark is being made into sausages when it arrives in the uk and is then allowed to carry the GB flag. EU rules allow meat to be renamed by a country when it has major changes made to it , eg Danish pork slabs into GB sausages etc

Should get a premium on beef over 30 months not a deduction

This helps uk lamb in France aswell
