My Mrs would come back with something cute. She says we have enough ‘ugly’ sheep and cattle. She hates beltex and even more Charley tups. She says Belgian blue look like them losers posing in gym windows - lucky for me really as a hairy farmer!

My mrs would come back with a runt that looks like it belongs in the full section and say “it looked sad I thought we could feed it up a bit and make it a bit happier”

Anybody know how the store cattle sold at Longtown this week? I might have had a look in different circumstances.
I watched a bit on the phone. They looked a great trade DB bought a lot of the better end of cattle. There was some poor stores/weaners that were either dairy types or young and or poor looked like I could have made a shilling out of very cheap from £400 but JL was sticking in for them. Mainly very good cattle and a good trade a lot around £900

These 9mth Lim and Chx heifers averaged £929 today. It's a good photo.. not as big as they look!

Women when bidding seem to split into two camps they are either very cautious or they are going to get it right reason or none.
My Mrs just keeps going until she gets it terrible for getting drawn in.

They look a straight trade to me nice sorts that will grow into nice cattle but will eat a bit off feed to get there. I think you have done well but there will be a bit for next man.

You're probably right on the cheaper end, those sorts can put a bit of value on at this time of year.
