@Northeastfarmer trade was better yesterday here back up to av £2k which includes a lot of mules
whats the blue/yellow/unprestented lambs about? Just a way of dividing up the averages too make them look better?
Got some early on between £350 £450 bid at loads after that similar sheep making £600 plus. What I’ve bought this time anywhere from £350/£850 averaging £500 ishWhat would it cost to get a good one? Might have a look at Hexham tomorrow.
Doomsters, sfp is all done on computers so staff can do it at home just as easy if not easier than in the officeChrist Guthrie do you ever have any good news
It's not a problem if it is late this yr .......just calculate what you will be owed then take the same amount out on a BB loan then when the BPS arrives then pay it backRumour now doing the rounds is that the BPS payment will be delayed for most claiment's this year as the staff working on the scheme are working from home and are not office based.
Is it not always late anyway? Or at least it seems to be in ScotlandIt's not a problem if it is late this yr .......just calculate what you will be owed then take the same amount out on a BB loan then when the BPS arrives then pay it back [emoji6]
Have you not had your bps yet?Is it not always late anyway? Or at least it seems to be in Scotland
Most have had the loan but the actual bps is usually late for some reason .Have you not had your bps yet?
And for anyone who has taken a small amount of BB loan already? It's not a problem if it is late this yr .......just calculate what you will be owed then take the same amount out on a BB loan then when the BPS arrives then pay it back
Was very much 'tongue in cheek' but it is an option for those that haven't taken the loan yetAnd for anyone who has taken a small amount of BB loan already?
Well, you say that but not always the case. Things will improve as home working becomes more widespread but I can quite believe that SFP could be delayed this year and the catch-all 'Covid' excuse offered.Doomsters, sfp is all done on computers so staff can do it at home just as easy if not easier than in the office
They are using it for everything else!!Well, you say that but not always the case. Things will improve as home working becomes more widespread but I can quite believe that SFP could be delayed this year and the catch-all 'Covid' excuse offered.

Most that I've spoken to who are working at home say they can achieve a lot more than they did in the officeWell, you say that but not always the case. It would certainly be possible, although I would guess that there's a lot of dog walking and tea drinking done as well. The agency we use for our holiday let were a nightmare for the first half of lockdown, prospective guests on hold to them for two hours, no replies to emails etc. Most that I've spoken to who are working at home say they can achieve a lot more than they did in the office
There is a reason puppies have increased ten fold in value.....It would certainly be possible, although I would guess that there's a lot of dog walking and tea drinking done as well. AHDB report this evening shows increases in market prices for just about everything. Lambs back over 200p and ewes up a lot which is well overdue as the numbers of meaty ewes have been low compared with the grazers.
Cattle also all up today so no sign of any collapse as was being suggested, numbers are not there.
Did you go good tups a good trade I got 3 texel a canny few plain things in I thoughtWhat would it cost to get a good one? Might have a look at Hexham tomorrow.
