Think you mean sailorHello soldier
Was quoted £2.90 for this week. Looks like everything else at Apb is up 5p for next week so hopefully cows £2.95 next weekAny cull cows. Dead weight prices for next week?
lets hope we get more continentals in the stores , my lad reckons its boring watching angus being sold.Who would ever have thought they would pull back Angus premium once there was enough folks on the hook to breed them!!!
Well I never
Very much so! So I won’t bother losing any sleep over it!Were you happy with the price this week though??
Bowland FoodsWhere did you kill them at?
Don't open that can of worms againWho would ever have thought they would pull back Angus premium once there was enough folks on the hook to breed them!!!

Maybes, but someone must want them. My father in law did very well with his Angus monty x in hexham today, one of his store bullocks to £1400Angus scheme is a waste of time now, the premiums have reduced, age limits decreased, weight limits increased and they have limited killing slots to name a few things!
oh dearAnyone know what the weight limit is at Foyles just had a blue steer come back at 419.5kg/dw
Still be a place for an Angus cow here if the premium goesMaybes, but someone must want them. My father in law did very well with his Angus monty x in hexham today, one of his store bullocks to £1400
Never seem to have any shape about themlets hope we get more continentals in the stores , my lad reckons its boring watching angus being sold.

Sorted through our 15-18 month old heifers today that were out wintered until mid decenever. Wormed, clipped etc. Pulled out a 17 month old Augus out of a blue x fresian. Lovely long heifer, touch of shape. Quiet as a mouse. Decided she wasn’t going too do as well as I wanted in the stores as she’d make a real cow so I coppered her and put her in with the bull, he served her 45 minutes later so . I’ll try and get a picture tomorrow!Never seem to have any shape about them
thats a one off.Still be a place for an Angus cow here if the premium goesView attachment 934016
ets hogsLamb price will yo-yo a bit over next few months , thats just normal , its bound to hit uk price resistance but that will be temporary , bit the same as fuel , will drag other meats up with it along the way mainly beef ,all red meats have been to cheap for to long , so a correction will come at some point , at the end of the day lamb is very high all around the world so other avenues will open up over time for those that eat it all the time ,The biggest issue short term is marts will be flooded which will depress price , but will store up more shortage longer term , looking good for spring lamb for early summer if hoggs get gone now
Chaeper i guess....didt goAnyone see how sedge store lambs was tonight
