Never seem to have any shape about them
Sorted through our 15-18 month old heifers today that were out wintered until mid decenever. Wormed, clipped etc. Pulled out a 17 month old Augus out of a blue x fresian. Lovely long heifer, touch of shape. Quiet as a mouse. Decided she wasn’t going too do as well as I wanted in the stores as she’d make a real cow so I coppered her and put her in with the bull, he served her 45 minutes later so 🤞👍. I’ll try and get a picture tomorrow!

Lamb price will yo-yo a bit over next few months , thats just normal , its bound to hit uk price resistance but that will be temporary , bit the same as fuel , will drag other meats up with it along the way mainly beef ,all red meats have been to cheap for to long , so a correction will come at some point , at the end of the day lamb is very high all around the world so other avenues will open up over time for those that eat it all the time ,The biggest issue short term is marts will be flooded which will depress price , but will store up more shortage longer term , looking good for spring lamb for early summer if hoggs get gone now
ets hogs
Anyone see how sedge store lambs was tonight
Chaeper i guess....didt go
