I wonder what’s been achieved?
We’ve had some bloody good off shoot discussions that’s for sure!I wonder what’s been achieved?
We’ve discovered that liveweight is better than deadweightI wonder what’s been achieved?
And the prices would have fit into 2 pagesPage 3000....what a milestone
And the thread would be boring as fudgeAnd the prices would have fit into 2 pages
Its a useful place to put our own prices up,either dead or at the mart, and whether we have been pleased with them,or feel we have been done over.It can be a substitute for returning home and not having your late father to have a craik with about the prices etc.And whatever we think .......someone will disagree
There has been one or two disappear over the years...,Indeed! And no one has killed nobody else, now that is impressive!
Very true. Or a 100 stores lambs sold now with say a real profit £30 doesn't buy a load of straw.
Depends if you got room to buy all up front too. Then add your own cost to that mine has well.Could have bought straw for £70t ex off the field most areas.
It's a gamble that some got wrong.

And @livestock 1 doesn't like Angus cattle very much...We’ve discovered that liveweight is better than deadweight

This is the best thread by a country mile on here, if you go on the arable price tracker its a boring old lot, long may we continue going off topic and getting told off by moderatorsAnd the thread would be boring as fudge

This is because although livestock farmers are obviously serious people we also have a sense of humour! This is the best thread by a country mile on here, if you go on the arable price tracker its a boring old lot, long may we continue going off topic and getting told off by moderators

Yes miss the old man looking for the list with prices on all ways keen to to see how we had gone onIts a useful place to put our own prices up,either dead or at the mart, and whether we have been pleased with them,or feel we have been done over.It can be a substitute for returning home and not having your late father to have a craik with about the prices etc.
Ironically when I was working on an all arable/machinery farm I was a member on here but I found that there was a lot of incompetent’s in conversations and couldn’t understand how any of them owned or ran a farm let alone a single field of corn yet the livestock sections are always fantastic for news, updates, tips and tricks and of course good banter. This is the best thread by a country mile on here, if you go on the arable price tracker its a boring old lot, long may we continue going off topic and getting told off by moderators
