ABP- £4.01 - 26p for blinking in lairage
Scotbeef- £4.20 for in spec scotch

And regardless what people say on here about price going up or down or too cheap or too dear, we all carry on calving, or lambing or selling stores or buying stores or selling fat liveweight or deadweight.
Why????
Cos it's in our blood, it's what we do, and for the most part we're all bloody good at it.

Its a useful place to put our own prices up,either dead or at the mart,and whether we have been pleased with them,or feel we have been done over.It can be a substitute for returning home and not having your late father to have a craik with about the prices etc.

Very true. Or a 100 stores lambs sold now with say a real profit £30 doesn't buy a load of straw.

Could have bought straw for £70t ex off the field most areas.

Depends if you got room to buy all up front too. Then add your own cost to that mine has well.

This is because although livestock farmers are obviously serious people we also have a sense of humour!

We have too, it’s a requirement when keeping sheep & cattle!

Ironically when I was working on an all arable/machinery farm I was a member on here but I found that there was a lot of incompetent’s in conversations and couldn’t understand how any of them owned or ran a farm let alone a single field of corn yet the livestock sections are always fantastic for news, updates, tips and tricks and of course good banter.

Good job @livestock 1 doesn’t see the Jersian x Angus that we get down here or he may have a heart attack
