How much is haulage from Orkney back to the mainland? Some good prices there in that report!@Top Tip yes I was up take float with me. @Highland Mule Mostly Aberdeenshire and Angus buyers a few locals as well . I had a load and a guy from black isle had some as well.

I’m going too have too ask.Some made 122, must have been fit to kill. Only had about 500 in will be drying up now. Grit ewes are very expensive, the right year to get out of them for sure.

Down here a grit ewe is a speckled faced, thick boned ewe with a penchant for rearing 1 lamb every other year and not making a particularly marvellous job of that one..
