Post edited due to not having this year payment until next yearHad my last year's payment last week.
£184 for about 500 fleeces and some lambs wool.
Exlanas are being looked on more favourably as I sort for tupping.
Lucky you, I took in 60 sheets (about 2400 fleeces) and it seems like it’s disappeared of the face of the earth!Had my last year's payment last week.

£134 for 3,000kg. 1100 ewe fleeces and 300 lambs.
500 exlana’s and rising!
Sorry the money was for 2020 clip, 3,000 went in this year, last year was 2,500 kg.You have twice as many fleeces as me (and over twice the weight!)... yet I got £30 more than you
Wool trade is shyte at the moment but you've bigger issues if you've done that poor. No wonder you're switching to shedders
You surely would be better sorting your own haulage at that? I guess that those of us who live near a depot are better off than we perhaps realised. Suddenly a couple of gallons of derv and an hour for the trip doesn’t feel so bad.Sorry the money was for 2020 clip, 3,000 went in this year, last year was 2,500 kg.
Haulage of £250 on last years clip, 306 kg gave a loss of -£4, and 2250kg organic gave £115 after haulage was deducted, leaving £111 for the pair for 2,500 kg.
2.5 hours each way minimum - just looked at google maps. For 60 bags that’s a fair few journeysYou surely would be better sorting your own haulage at that? I notice that they have announced a removal of some of the haulage charges for this year and onwards, which hopefully will be a help for those that are a bit further away.

I get an organic premium bonus some point through the year which last year the bonus was treble the wool amountI was left with £161 for 1,400kgs... (It was £1,700 for the 1,400kgs the year previous).
I'm not sure if yours being Organic alters things? but it does seem very low for your clip
Mine is predominantly Highlanders, so classed as Romney x, so allegedly worth morePost edited due to not having this year payment until next year

Would have thought it would cost .....,mmmm....... maybe an extra 5ppk to process this high priced wool , thus rendering any premium valuelessDid you get a 5p/kg ‘fine wool premium’ for this year’s delivery too?
