Very true, very true. The best breeders will mostly have been at Alston moor. Although having seen some of the tup photos floating about lately, I’m wondering if some of the “best” breeders won’t be best for much longer!

He said they’ve came a lot cheaper in Hereford towards the end of the sale as well.

I averaged £110 for 47kg at Frome yesterday down £2 on the week. One buyer that hadn’t seen for a while had a ceiling of £106 for large lambs. Didn’t see him get any. Twice as many in as last week. Expect the trade to cool next week. Dry weather will have bought lambs on, how many on here are thinking I’ll draw some next week. We all think the same.
