Very true, very true. The best breeders will mostly have been at Alston moor. Although having seen some of the tup photos floating about lately, Iā€™m wondering if some of the ā€œbestā€ breeders wonā€™t be best for much longer! šŸ˜„

was grand too meet you btw today, put a face too the name so too speak! šŸ‘
I don't think I would make too much of a connection between the so called best swaledale tup breeders and the best NoE mule breeders. Yes, nice to meet you too

The lad who services our machinery and does most of our welding when my attempts wonā€™t do is like that! šŸ˜‚ ā€œIā€™ve got no friends, Iā€™ve got lots of acquaintances, but I donā€™t want friendsā€
what a sad f..... , i would like to think ive got heaps of mates and good neighbours and would go out of my way to give any body any work that got a attitude like that , maybe its some of his customers thats turned him like that

One the local markets -20p down. Tried to book some mules to go dead and they wonā€™t even quote me a price this afternoon for next week.
The 510/kg definitely wonā€™t be happening he says.
He said theyā€™ve came a lot cheaper in Hereford towards the end of the sale as well.

I averaged Ā£110 for 47kg at Frome yesterday down Ā£2 on the week. One buyer that hadnā€™t seen for a while had a ceiling of Ā£106 for large lambs. Didnā€™t see him get any. Twice as many in as last week. Expect the trade to cool next week. Dry weather will have bought lambs on, how many on here are thinking Iā€™ll draw some next week. We all think the same.
