They think they are or they pretend they areScottish buyers wont touch Tb1....but i think theyre disease free up there!
What’s that supposed to mean ?They think they are or they pretend they are
You know fine well what it meansWhat’s that supposed to mean ?
Oh he was really on fire on the bulls bit quieter on the clean next week will see xmas showNo the one that’s either on fire or very cold!!!!
Is it 3 now? We usually get a letter saying we don't need to do 1 cos we've slaughtered certain % of our herd each year an don't buy anything in or sell anything other than fat stock.Finishing ours on Monday hopefully. Think it's every 3 years now.
If your finishing (deadweight) more than 100% of your breeding herd annually there is no TB testing up hereThey think they are or they pretend they are
Your que too start showing interest??I can't do that, I have to hear the auctioneer sell the lot before to Tony England then I know I have have the next ones!
Yeah so that I can buy the real bottom pens, then when the next venders show lambs run in a can shout “stand on”, never gets old.Your que too start showing interest??
So it’s YOU who does that!Yeah so that I can buy the real bottom pens, then when the next venders show lambs run in a can shout “stand on”, never gets old.
I don’t , as far as I’m aware Scotland is TB free apart from the odd case of bought in beasts. You know fine well what it means

My old boss did a private kill. The farmer rang and complained that her lamb boxes only had 2 legs each but the lambs all had 4 legs when she took them to the abattoir…I had one last year with a deformed leg and the butchers just minced it… sold it as a lamb box without thinking about it and they rang up complaining there was a leg missing and they didnt want any mince explaining where the mince came from was akward
Iv had too explain that one a few times tbhMy old boss did a private kill. The farmer rang and complained that her lamb boxes only had 2 legs each but the lambs all had 4 legs when she took them to the abattoir…
I suppose it depends what you call ‘tb free’ doesn’t it ?I don’t , as far as I’m aware Scotland is TB free apart from the odd case of bought in beasts.
I don’t know explain ?I suppose it depends what you call ‘tb free’ doesn’t it ?
Well it’s a bit of a pee take really. Loads of farms put on tb 1 in the north of England mainly due to ir’s then subsequent radial testing and subject to pre movement tests while over the border they claim tb free status while having reactors.I don’t know explain ?
I see , I know nowt about it but I do know having operated both sides of the border the Scott’s farmers and authority’s and government take animal health lot more serious than south side and not just tb .Well it’s a bit of a pee take really. People selling store cattle aren’t too effected by tb1 but the poor buggers selling breeding cattle often get hammeredI see , I know nowt about it but I do know having operated both sides of the border the Scott’s farmers and authority’s and government take animal health lot more serious than south side and not just tb .
Agree with that and the same should be done for sheep scab.People selling store cattle aren’t too effected by tb1 but the poor buggers selling breeding cattle often get hammered
We have a map disclosing bad tests in England no such thing exists over the border
It’s a good way to look at where to buy from and where to avoid for your own benefit and your neighbours
Scotland should do the same
