Yeah. Didn’t he used to rent 1000 acres up in your part of the world until fairly recently? Then I had in my head he a place down south that was a fair size. I think he still puts stock out for people to look after for him.
Big store lamb finishing spread in the midlands. All shepherded for him. Never hear them complaining about him either. That’s a good sign. Very much a likeable rogue… 😉

Yeah. I haven’t a bad word to say about him. Never done me any harm. Quite the opposite in fact. Even after balancing out all the times these tiny little kittens bounced off the tailgate after asking not to have anymore like that sent.

I don’t know him as I’m not in the sheep world tbh we have fetched some of his down to farms with our lorry’s through the main firm up there but all I can say is this people like him are needed and it’s nice to see so many good comments about someone , most dealers are blamed for most things when in fact they are vital cogs in the wheel too!!!! Good to see comments positive about what he does

Are Frosts from Northampton still buying cattle from all over?
Used to see the old man (Tim?) Frost quite a lot and he was friends with my dad years ago. They have a block of land down this way they would put cattle in until they had a lorry load to go home with

Does speeding count as car trouble?
No surprising if drivers get caught in Devon + Cornwall speeding now!

As according to that useless police commisinor woman Alison i am no use! the most important and only crime that needs dealing with currently in the SW is speeding!

She is spending millions on putting new speeding camera vans on the road let alone turning back on all the stand alone units on the roadside!

In the last week i reckon i have passed 25 mobile speed cameras in about 500 miles!

On the local link road where the speed limit is now 40 mph in parts they have caught 3000 drivers in just 3 weeks, most were less than 5mph over the speed limit apparently!

Yet if you get mugged on the street the chances of getting a police officer to turn up is zero!

I don’t know of him so won’t pass comment on him, but on your ‘dealers’ comment…

Does nobody remember 2001, when F&M was spread from the NE, through Longtown, down to mid-Wales, Devon, Oxfordshire, etc, all by dealers buying and shipping nationwide?

It seems memories have faded already.:(
