I was quite happy, they were a touch more than i got for the ones straight off their mothers in november but these were just that touch later born and werent good enough then. Yes my cattle are normally very uniform and can batch them up nicely. Think i had a pen of 8 black heifers in october at the first suckler sale. Just wish i could get them a bit taller for their age, (its the hairy cow in them) 🙄 they seam to do ok for folk as same man buys them every year.

I sold lambs between Xmas and new year and by the time I paid levies, commission and a bit of luck it was £7.80/hd no wonder I send most of mine deadweight.
Try selling in a deadweight world only pall & see how u get on...... Extra £3/head commission or the likes of dunbia & others bum shag*ing u paying £4/kgdw take it or leave it.....
I'll pay the commission all day.....
