Just finished sorting ewes for market in the morning but surprised my lateral flow test still positive.
I won't go but what is everyone else doing about covid at market now?

I wasnt there, just saw a bit on line. There were some belting Lim x heifers in the big ring made £1680 i think.Would make good cows. Report said trade was up in the weaners. My neighbour bought 3 blue steers at £775,so must have been cheap if he bought them.He does have the ability to get David Wilson and Tom Ball to stand out for him though.:)
Does David wilson buy many stirks

Hallworthy.

I don't think the cull ewes have been selling that well at Holsworthy.
Cull ewes down £11 at Holsworthy today!

On the covid job, how many days have you had it/ been testing postive?

If still testing positive then best really if you give this week a miss if you can,

Covid is really bad in Devon/ Somerset at the moment, everyone seems to be getting it, heard of an on farm sale about a week/ten days ago where no end of people who attended the sale went down with covid 2/3 days later!

I'll have been positive over a week now.
Local primary has over 50 pupils off positive.
NDDH was closed to visitors today, I think they have 82 covid patients at the mo.
It is really bad around here.
As far as I'm aware, there is no reason why I can't spend tomorrow morning mingling with a market full of people which seems wrong [I won't].

Holsworthy only has 1 or 2 buyers for the ewes and they generally take the piz. I keep promising myself I won't do it again.
They may have been £11 down yesterday, but that doesn't include the fact they'd probably already be £20-£30 behind Exeter, at least.

I had it a few weeks ago, very mild. The number of cases since restrictions were lifted shows that distancing, masks, hygiene etc must have been doing more good than some claim.

But you don't believe in covid?
