Prime Cattle – A very good show of cattle and an unbelievable trade probably the best yet with 42 cattle passing 320ppk, of which 11 made above 320ppk and a further 21 selling from 290ppk to 299ppk. 117 cattle made 260ppk and above. The overall average for cattle was £1656.11p.
Top Price Heifer– 339.5ppk for Limousin X from B Bowman, Roecliffe purchased by R Pearson & Son, Bradford.
Best Grossing Heifer - £2114.04 for Limousin X from JB Marwood & Son, Spennithorne purchased R Pearson & Son.
Top Price Steer – 318.5ppk twice for Limousin X from GC Hill & Son, Crosby purchased by R Pearson & Son and TD Keel & Son, Bagby purchased by J Penny & Sons, Rawdon.
Best Grossing Steer - £2272.56 for Limousin X from TJ Dennis & Son, Howgrave purchased by Worsley Wholesale Butchers, Briestfield.
Prime Young Bulls –A much larger entry and a considerably dearer trade for all classes.
Top Price Bull & Best Grossing Bull - 316.5ppk £2453.10 for Limousin X from DG Johnson & Sons, Shipton purchased by Worsley Wholesale Butchers.
Cull cattle – A very good entry with a shortage of best quality and an absolutely fantastic trade.
