I'm thinking more outside of agriculture . .....they seem to be earning big money but never seem to be doing much .....compared to us !
It came up on my Facebook memories few days ago from when I used too be a fabricator (10 years ago now) my first fully paid qualified pay slip, £16hr, +£700 for the month shift pay +£300 for the month SEP pay (id been working in some radioactive areas that month) +£1500 bonus which we got every April and December 😂 before tax it was just over 5k and in total for the month I bet I’d done 12 hours actual hard work .. just had too remind myself how much I f**king hated being there

It'll only go so many times to pick up SML stock! Bet it's been like it for a while, but once you've seen it....🥴
..... yes wouldn't have worried if I didn't know 🙂🙂
Never mind I'm doing something useful and getting a bit of 2nd cut down

Took a load of culls and tail end hoggs into longtown this morning. Ewe numbers short Arrived at 9 ewes were straight out of the trailer and into the ring. Seamed a hell of a trade for what they were. 132 for decent but not massive mules, 78 for a cross ewe trailing a leg. 78 for covered swales and 59 for some horrors. 112 for a fit but small hellish wooly cheviot cross that we called rabbit. 190 for a decent leicter tup and 165 for moderate ones.
