They could be far better,if just been ticking over on a building site.
The facts are out there but they get drowned out by the same old stuff being repeated over and over. I've said it before but the NFU need to get into the 21st century and put a media team on social media with a couple of dozen facts that could answer the misinformation once and for all.
At the moment they discourage engagement saying you won't win an argument with those people, that's nonsense.

Come on NFU. help us out.
totally agree social media is the way forward. Most people are on it for the hrs
Every day day It's free advertising. Should link with the National YFC movement to promote our and their future. It's not rocket science. Pictures of our local beacon being lit hit 3k people in under 24hrs. Levy should be diverted to a media team/YFC movement

Whats the weather like,(or climate) wet and windy?

yeah but only for about 360 days of the year.

It used to be howling gales and not so much rain, feels the opposite now, were getting alot more rain and less severe gales. Mostly unsettled id say, have had ten cracking days of weather just now but wed have been lucky if it never rained 3 days in May, deffo one of the worst Mays i can remember. Theres little difference in April/May weather so everyone lambs in April

Did you catch them in the act? There is nothing worse than starting your daily routine and finding it is not there....................just vanished without a trace. You then think maybe you left it somewhere else.......................and then that sinking feeling.
No I never caught them in the act, coded key in a can am and they couldn't get it going they took 2 bikes from neighbours and left them in local woods, the bike was only just over a month old, we had the dipper man coming so I really needed the bike as well and they'd cut wires trying to hotwire it absolute scum of the earth

I agree totally that tractor loaders aren't a patch on one but you do pay for the privilege I've looked quite closely at secondhand ones after using a few different ones on places I've helped.
Someone quoted was it 98k for one 🤯
You need a lot of work for something like that.
I’ve got a tidy jcb loadall for sale not far from you for 12.5k

They want feckin hanging, next fecker I catch I might rope the cxxt up an drag him down the tarmac a bit!! The powers that be are the ones to blame here for all this rural crime and crime in general, there’s no deterrent anymore, the scum just laugh at the police and that’s if they turn up! The last bunch we caught coming out of a house window, the police asked me what I thought they should do with them, if anything!! They re a f**king joke!!!!!!!!!
A lot of stolen stuff round here ends up on a isolated local farm……

Farmer in South Devon caught someone trying to nick their quad at 1 am in the morning ( farm dogs barking like mad woke him up so went outside to see what they were barking at ) pinned the bloke to the ground, his wife called the police, said they had caught the thief and were holding him on the ground untill they ( the police ) got there to arrest the thief...

Police call centre told them to let the bloke go or they would be arrested for unlawful arrest.. farmers wife said no they would not let him go, police turned up about 30 mins later, let the thief go and arrested the farmer and his wife!

Had one stolen and left in a wood we managed to find it got the police here to hopefully catch them when they came back but they wouldn’t be on
Same thing happed here , lad fund his two quads hidden in a wood coppers wouldnt lay the trap but took bikes for forensics and charged him to get them back , would have been as well just taking them home and telling the coppers .
