Yeah I do 400 like that too but keep the ewe lambs back, usually the whethers take the hit on the ewes price, the ewes tack and the ewe lambs cost so the ewe lamb is for free

When is the best time to sell culls then? This week or the week after? Got 250-300 welsh to go, trade down £20 on the week what I saw yesterday compared to the week before.

Looks like a most dealers are bought up for the festival now. I'm going to try and put more meat on mine. Lots of heavy ewes gone through the system already which should help put a bottom on the trade over the summer.

Big lamb dropped dead yesterday. Looked like clostridium to me this morning. Nothing else physically wrong with it as I could see. It must be nearly JulyMust be a black Saturday

But Blondie cow has calved overnight, right nice heifer calf. So that’s a plus. Left Dad with 6 loads of sewage cake too spread while I was away. Made a grand job but has managed too wrap the light cable of the spreader around the PTO. It’s a bit chewed up now!!
As long as he didn’t wrap himself around the pto like my dad did.

Cutting up a tree for firewood, was rolling it over and the branch I was rolling it over using snapped and I fell back onto a barbwire fence, 1 my fingers is a similar fetal too… why I thought grabbing a barbwire fence too break my fall was a good idea I’ll never know

Best getting it sorted properly, I sliced my finger a bit like that, they pulled it all back together properly and stiched it up and it healed up well, mind you at the time I was more worried about the hole in my forehead with blood pouring out but they just stuck some super glue on that LOL
8 sheep into the day my back hurts like hell, by 15 it’s fine, can do 250 a day and not even know I have a bad back until I get in the truck to go home.
