I was talking to a group of Irish lads on holiday the ones milking cows were well made up with the milk pricesTalking to a dairy farmer today, he sais hed never known farming as good, not since the heydays of the 80s anyways.
Our sector will maybe follow suit before long hopefully

Goodluck to the dairy boys, the ones still in have put up with some bad times so deserve some good times although electric and other inputs knock it a fair bit. I think pollution problems and the EA showing a keener interest are cooling alot of expansion plans, easier to expand another herd on another farm .I just hope they don't 'expand' themselves into future problems with massive expansion plans
