Weaners seemed very dear at Carlisle today. A big entry as well,but plenty buyers. Just finished selling at 4pm.
Stores to £1880 for a heifer and Weaners a good trade again at Carlisle
I see that Carlisle specifically mentioned native breeds in the advertising for today's sale, looks like it'll be similar first Wednesday of every month. Was there a separate section? How did it go?

There is no separate section. They couldnt do it anyway as they have a job to get them in and out of Ring 4 as it is. There are all sorts of breeds in the weaners every week. It doesnt matter what breed they are,the shapiest and fittest cattle always make the most money. Usually Lims,followed by Blues.
