I would be surprised if there are any bigger sheep there, real Suffolk cross scotch mules (far to big and hungry for me to keep alive). Only 20 so never going to be real disaster.

I once bought 12 gimmer lambs at Lazonby in lot no.2 and didn’t buy after sheep for 4 hours, suddenly they dropped and managed to get 350 towards the end.

Stores looking less money at Whitland on the stream. A lot of lean looking cattle, I thought there was plenty of grass in west Wales?

Not this week they haven’t, lean hill ewes are sliding fast. Wether it’s the lack of grazing ewe demand at the moment I don’t know?

Its because I've speaned our mule lambs so will be looking for some yows to sell this next week or 3

They were cheaper in Carmarthen yesterday as well, but a lot of lean cattle. There is a bit of grass about but a lot of beef farmers have been reluctant to spend big money on expensive fert so grass quality could be shite.

Yea i thought the same , sedgemore few weeks ago was well ahead of that .Lot of arable around there (edge of salisbury plain) will affect trade as busy with harvest , only 500 entries usually a few 1000 , dealer heaven ,
