You stated earlier that he has a superb legal mind. If that is the case it seems strange that he still thinks he’s innocent.
He has! I've seen him on his feet in the CCC - Old Bailey - and elsewhere, and both the content and structure of his arguments were superb. But... that doesn't mean he always tells the truth. (y)

Isn't the bigger picture that Boris lied to Parliament? And keeps lying!
Starmer has not.
And since when did the Daily Fail start deciding who has a case re opened?
Also, where's the Sue Grey report?
You can defend old Sir Kier all you like but to me that is a good old curry night in the kitchen. No different to the drinks and nibbles out in the downing street garden on a fine summer's day. What a fecking world when the media and you lot on here are arguing the niceties when the fecking world is collapsing around us. Give it a rest.

If I was Keir Starmer, I'd open PMQs by saying "does the Prime Minister think I should resign if I'm fined?
And Boris should reply 'Does the Leader of the Opposition think he should?'

(or, if he's feeling naughty, he could ask if the Deputy leader of the Labour Party thinks he should (y))

If Starmer resigns, Rayner will bury Boris Johnson at PMQs.

And do you really want Boris to try and deal with Yvette Cooper as deputy leader?

With Lisa Nandy on the front bench as well?

🍿🍿🍿
Rayner is a dogmatic idiot with about as much intellectual ability and flexibility as a pebble. Nandy is bright, but has now lost her integrity and credibility; Yvette Cooper - aka the angry canary - is a broken record.

The last labour female frontbencher with any gravitas was Margaret Beckett; can't think of any Labour MPs who has a chance against Boris except Dan Jarvis - if anyone thinks that's not the case, sit down with a pen and paper and write a list of all the shadow cabinet members you know.

Rayner could also get a fine as she was there even though the Labour Party had lied about it.

Actually , I'm not. I think he's been caught out which is fecking stupid for a smart arsed lawyer.
Doesn't change the fact Boris lied to Parliament.

Why does Boris make a hash of dealing with her then?

Daily Mail: it would be a complete disaster if Boris Johnson loses 400 seats
* Boris Johnson loses 500 seats *
Daily Mail: Keir Starmer must resign!

He had a curry with people he'd been working with while Boris had 15 parties , here...

As I've said before, it's a 40 something and below thing. They're all at it. They do whatever they think they can get away with. Trouble is, everyone at that level is being watched, so they ain't going to get away with it.. You would hope that those at the top would at least make an attempt to behave whilst in office, but no. I see no one fit to be PM, TBH. No one.
