Beet harvester

Hi guys,

I don't suppose anyone knows of any beet harvesters coming up for sale in the near future, by any chance?
We were running a 6 row self propelled, and ideally looking for another 6 row if possible, or a decent trailed tanker 3/4 row, maybe edenhall?

Anything about?
Cheers

I take it you have tried the usual suspects ? Rileys Veervaet ,Chris Coleman Holmer ,CTM Ropa ,Grimme Ben Burgess Aylsham. Trailed call Alan Brewster 01263 587359 for trailed. There is someone else but cannot remember his name ,someone will be along soon to tell you.

Whats your budget? This doesn't look to have done much

Thanks spud. I saw that and sorely tempted, but not having a tank will probably be an issue, as well as having to get rowcrops for the only tractor we have (puma 200). Its big enough to run it, but would mean I would need another tractor to dray trailers. Don't think it will make too much money, and would be better on the hills than the tim we used to have. For trailed, I like the look of the edenhall, but they are few and far between and very strong money for a trailed machine.

I didn't ask too many questions ,he a very good man & straight as.
Thanks for the lead. Have spoken with him, but the one coming in is too new for us, but he may know of another.
I am very tempted by the garford, but will need rowcrops for the Puma, but there doesn't seem to be many used puma/TM/T7 LWB rowcrop wheels about.

It’s been there about a year, and won’t be much local demand as it’s not a beet area. I would think there’s a deal to be done….?
I didn't realise it had been there that long, but not surprising as from the pics the back tyres are perished and fronts not much tread. Would say the price is somewhat strong for the bits that need doing :(

Cheers Spud, went up and looked at it. Few things missing and broken, but fixable. Spoke with the Garford Guru who told me it was an older Victor where the topper has just one hyd motor to drive all the cutters by a belt, felt it would be worth £2.5-£3k..... I bugged out of bidding at £5k. Too much of a risk for me. So still looking. Love the look of the Edenhall harvesters but they seem to be even rarer than rocking horse poo :(
