I’m not sure there have actually been many media lies.

He drove to Durham from London
He took a trip to Barnard Castle.
He went to the woods for a while.
He talked to his folks in person.

Apart from the rumour that he’d done a second trip to Durham, which many doubted to be anything more than a rumour, he’s pretty much admitted all that he was accused of.

IMO it was little more than a Jackanory story written by a lawyer encompassing all the currently available public knowledge on the affair and trying to smooth it into a reasonable and legal sounding action. But I doubt the British Jury will accept it.

Terrible reader. It must be joined up writing.

Drove 30 Miles to test his eyesight with the child on-board.

Sat there like some naughty boy mumbling away.

To be fair what he said was he had been clear of the symptoms for two days before he attempted a test drive, so I would say that's ok assuming he had his wife with him incase she needed to take over and the child would have to go to.

Biggest thing I noticed is how pathetic the press are.

Think most people have made their mind up already and whatever he said won't have made a difference.

Or she could of just drove anyway? Or if she was unfit to drive she couldn't of took over anyway so why all pile in the car? Were they not on a farm? Id know if i could see on the yard it wouldn't take me 30 minutes to work it out.

I'd let Cummings be, mainly because the clowns in government are in trouble without him and none of us are wanting them to fuk up any more than they already have.
He's the stabilizers on the bike!

As to whether he did wrong or not, the thing you have to ask the question, What if everyone in a similar situation did what he did?
The answer is chaos.

He said he could see as far as I could work out it was more the fact that he could hardly stand up two days before.

Don't have the answers to any of the other questions.

The fact of his justification he was a special case... Why is he? His wife's story of events were totally different when she wrote on the Spectator.

It what way was he not talking Bollox?
He didnt say he was a special case he said he done it for child care

In answer to your question, he said what happened, which bit of his account don't you believe?

I quite believe it all that's the problem.

His Sister in law lives in London His Aide lives in London there's no need to travel 260 Miles the support network was already there. There's many people with the child care issues he says he had but haven't travelled like he did. Then travel to test his eyesight. It's a different story to that of his wife's.

I didn't go and see the missus when she had it and bring her and the girls here like thousands of others haven't.
